Why choose Wood & Wood?
3

Wood & Wood have a unique kitchen specification which gives us the edge over our competitors.

Firstly, all Wood & Wood kitchens are built from solid pine, sourced from renewable resources. So often, because what's behind the door isn't seen, many kitchen manufacturers choose to use more cost-effective alternatives such as chipboard and MDF to build their unit carcasses.

The second advantage Wood & Wood offer concerns the specification of our kitchen doors. While most kitchen doors tend to be produced to a standard thickness of between 18 and 22mm, Wood & Wood's kitchen doors comprise 32mm of solid wood. And you'll find that extra thickness makes quite a difference to the feel and solidity of the finished unit.

Wood & Wood offer two types of hinges - either brass (which is fitted as standard) or stainless steel.

We also offer our own selection of popular door knobs (See Accessories page)

Wood & Wood aim to make the quality and individuality of a handmade, bespoke kitchen affordable to everyone.

Our experienced craftsmen at work in our local workshopInstead of custom-building the entire kitchen, the majority of our units are built to standard sizes by our experienced craftsmen in our local workshop. Given that we have over 300 standard sizes of unit, modifications are rarely necessary. When they are, we can either modify existing units or build a unit to an individual specification. In this way we can construct your kitchen cost effectively and reflect this in the price we charge.

Our flexibility is further enhanced by our commitment to maintain the Wood & Wood product range. Should you wish, you can add to or alter your kitchen later - whether that be in 6 months or 6 years time.
